Sportsguards, also known as mouthguards and mouth protectors are devices worn over the teeth designed to protect the teeth from blows to the head or face. Mouthguards are essential for anyone who participates in any sporting activity that may result in an injury to the mouth. This includes baseball, football, basketball, soccer, hockey, gymnastics, mountain biking and skateboarding. Generally, mouthguards cover the upper teeth, and prevent injuries, such as broken teeth, cut lips or any other damage to the mouth.
